Gas Springs
Locking Gas Springs are used in items such as car doors, lift tables, and laptop carts. Gas springs provide weight equalization and easier handling during opening, closing, and positioning. They can hold items in the desired position, and can provide an even increase of force over the entire range of motion. Think of opening the trunk of a car; the locking gas spring is what holds the door in place once it is open. Products in the BLOC-O-LIFT line are available with variable locking, either rigid or elastic in the direction of tension or compression, depending on the desired setup.

Non Locking Gas Springs in the LIFT-O-MAT line are used whenever loads need to be lifted or lowered in a controlled manner. Dampers, STAB-O-SHOCK
Dampers in the STAB-O-SHOCK line are used to positively influence motion and vibration; whether it is to comfortably dampen the opening and closing of lids, or to prevent damage to machines caused by excessive vibration.
Quick, uncontrolled movements while opening and closing lids can be dangerous to the user and put unnecessary stress on the equipment. STAB-O-SHOCK Motion Dampers support controlled motion during lifting and lowering of lid applications; they also protect equipment by avoiding hard stops in the end position.
Excessive vibrations can interfere with the smooth running of machinery and equipment, and cause costly damage. STAB-O-SHOCK Vibration Dampers convert the kinetic energy of moving components into thermal energy, reducing hard stops and large oscillation amplitudes; thus extending the life of the equipment.
